AUSTIN, Texas — Eric Pointer joined KVUE as a morning reporter in October 2022. He is a Texan excited to be back in the Lone Star State.
Before moving back, Eric worked in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Roanoke, Virginia.
He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in telecommunications and media studies and a minor in journalism.
With a father in the Air Force, Eric was able to live all over the world but will always claim Fort Worth, Texas, as his hometown.
He does root for the Colts and Pacers but says he’ll be a Cowboys, Mavericks and Rangers fan until the day he dies.
You can find him trying things in the kitchen or checking out new food spots when he's not in the field. He’s always looking for new recipes or restaurant suggestions!
